Grieving children can have a difficult time expressing their feelings after the death of a loved one. This room allows them to escape into a safe, child-friendly environment that encourages sharing and expression.

We wanted the teens to have a place where they can comfortably hang-out. Equipped with a flat screen TV for playing video games and other fun amenities, teens are able to meet peers who are traveling a similar journey.

Creative expression is crucial during the grieving process for individuals of all ages. Cornerstone’s Art Room enables our Art Therapists to lead a variety of activities that ultimately foster hope and healing during the difficult grief journey.

Need to let off some “steam”…go right ahead! Just keep it within these padded walls. Cornerstone of Hope promotes exercise, journaling, art, a healthy diet, and other creative therapies that will help to reduce stress and provide an action plan to cope with the pain of grief.

Cornerstone’s Heavenly Room is designed to be a sanctuary for those in need of an intimate setting to journal, read, or meditate and pray. Separate sound is available in this room to create a peaceful and meaningful experience.

Kids need to be kids! Watch a movie, read a book, color your favorite picture, or watch the fish swim. For children not old enough to participate in support groups, special arrangements can be made so that other family members can participate in our programs while their children are cared for.
