age appropriate grief support. The information given each
week builds on the previous week. It is important for all
family members to attend all sessions. Topics will be presented
at the same time to every group so that participants will
be able to discuss them amongst their own families.
Children’s Group: Ages 6-12
years
A professional Art Therapist provides grief education and
helps children learn to express their feelings of grief through
art projects, games & stories while learning new ways
to cope in a safe and supportive environment.
Teen Group: Ages 13-18 years

related to grief and helps teens discover their personal strengths
through creative exploration. Teens will gain a better understanding
of the grief process and learn healthy ways to cope with their

When someone is dealing
with the loss of a loved one by suicide, grief can be
complicating and overwhelming. It may seem like there
is no one who understands. With this in mind, Cornerstone
has planned an adult support group just for those who
have lost a loved one to suicide. TLC provides grief
education and emotional support, and addresses the specific
needs that arise from this type of loss. |
