Welcome to Cornerstone
of Hope's website! Cornerstone is dedicated to providing support,
education, and hope to the grieving. Guided by Christian values
of compassion and service, we welcome and serve all seeking support.
What is Cornerstone of Hope? Cornerstone of Hope
is a comprehensive grief center offering both individual counseling
and group support in a home like environment. We also offer educational
programs and trainings to professionals and volunteers.
Who does Cornerstone of Hope serve? Cornerstone
helps anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one. Adults
and children ages 5 and older can take advantage of our services.
For children under the age of 5 years, parents or caregivers can
get information and informal support on how to help their children.
What makes Cornerstone of Hope unique?
- Cornerstone is one of the few grief centers in the country
that offers support to the whole family
- Cornerstone is founded on Christian values and offer services
to all regardless of their belief system
- Cornerstone helps children feel comfortable by using art,
creative therapies and games to help them express feelings and
learn new ways to cope
- Cornerstone offers individual therapy at your child's
school (restrictions apply based on location/distance)
- Cornerstone offers free and sliding fee scale services,
based on ability to pay
- Cornerstone offers family workshops and events including
a one day summer camp
- Cornerstone support groups are led by trained professionals
while peer co-leaders offer real life experience
